BreastAugmentation
Natural fullness, balanced proportion
Breast augmentation increases volume, restores fullness, and improves shape with implants tailored to your frame. The aim is balance — not a dramatic change, but a result that looks and feels naturally yours.
Tailored to you
Implant choice is a careful conversation. Volume, profile, shape, and placement are all dialed in to your existing breast tissue, body frame, and the look you want — whether that's subtle restoration after pregnancy or a more pronounced enhancement.
A great augmentation result doesn't announce itself. It looks like the body you've always had — only in better proportion.
What changes with implants
Proportion, softness, and harmony
Beautiful breast augmentation is not just about size. It's about restoring balance, enhancing upper-pole fullness, improving projection, and creating harmony with your waist and hips.
What changes from before
- Low upper-pole fullness — a flatter, descending breast curve that loses volume at the top
- Minimal projection — breasts that sit close to the chest wall without forward shape
- Less cleavage — wider gap between the breasts due to deflated upper tissue
- Less volume — reduced breast tissue from genetics, weight loss, or post-pregnancy deflation
- Lost balance with waist and hips — a frame where the chest no longer reads in proportion to the lower body
What improves
- Restored upper-pole fullness — a youthful, lifted appearance at the top of the breast
- Enhanced projection — a softer, more feminine forward shape
- Improved cleavage — natural-looking center separation balanced for the frame
- Better cleavage shape — breasts that sit in proper position relative to the chest wall
- Harmonious proportion with the body — a chest that complements waist, shoulders, and hips
The journey to balanced enhancement
Implant choice is a careful conversation about your body, your goals, and how the result will look in clothes and in life. Volume, profile, shape, and placement all interact — and small changes in any of them produce large differences in the final shape.
The goal
A result that doesn't announce itself. The body looks like the one you've always had — only in better proportion. Whether that's subtle restoration after pregnancy or a more pronounced enhancement, the aim is the same: softness, harmony, and confidence.
The Journey to Balanced Enhancement
- 01
Evaluate body proportions
We measure the chest, shoulders, waist, and hips and discuss how the addition of volume will read against your overall frame.
- 02
Select implant profile
Together we choose the right implant size, profile (low, moderate, high), shape (round vs. anatomic), and placement (sub-glandular vs. sub-muscular) to match natural-looking results.
- 03
Create natural enhancement
The result blends with your shoulders, waist, and hips, restoring harmony — and feels as natural as it looks.
Artistry. Softness. Confidence. — a result that's 100% balanced, naturally.

What is breast augmentation?
Breast augmentation increases breast size, restores volume, and improves shape using implants (saline or silicone) or, in select cases, fat transfer. The procedure is tailored to each patient's anatomy and goals.
How are implants chosen?
Dr. Carvalho works with each patient to choose volume, profile (low, moderate, high), shape (round vs. anatomic), and placement (sub-glandular or sub-muscular) based on body frame, existing tissue, and the look you want.
Where are the incisions placed?
Most commonly in the inframammary fold (under the breast) — the most direct access, with a discreet scar in a natural crease. Periareolar (around the areola) is also an option in select cases.
How long is the recovery?
Most patients return to light activities within 1 week and resume normal activities at 4–6 weeks. Strenuous chest workouts are restricted longer to protect implant position.
Do I need a lift along with implants?
Sometimes. If there is significant sagging (ptosis), implants alone may not lift the breast — adding a mastopexy (lift) creates the desired position and shape. Dr. Carvalho will advise during consultation.
