I must say, I was frightened to go to Dr. Carvalho given the reviews however his body of work stood out. His body of work is realistic, great sculpture. I decided to not let reviews dictate my experience. As 2x CG doll, I would not go through CG again for any work. Instead, I would go directly through the specific Dr. private practice. Being a black woman and seeing most patients are Spanish, I was scared but Dr. Carvalho and his team at this office was outstanding. Excellent customer service- no long wait times. He listened to my feedback, was honest on the possibilities. Excellent bedside manners- he was present at the beginning and during recovery. After surgery, I recalled blinking my eyes and he checking in on me. He was in lobby speaking with my family giving them updates. He was informative and clear about how many ccs he gave me and met my expectation. Long post but worth the read!! I went to CG two years ago for breast augmentation and when I tell you I will never go back there…I MEAN IT. I will ONLY use Carvalho’s private office!!! I had surgery today 3/24/26. I had a tummy tuck, lipo in sides, arms and inner thighs. This was a last minute decision on my part. I decided 3 weeks ago to have this done before summer. I was originally planning on lipo 360, bbl, inner thighs and arms. But when I went to pre op yesterday, things changed. I sat down and spoke with Sara (who’s been fantastic) and Dr. Carvalho (also fantastic) he told me he would do whatever I wanted but he recommended a tuck since I’ve had two kids, that if I did the lipo I would have to come back in a year and get a tuck because if the extra skin sag. My husband and I talked it over and before even meeting with Carvalho we knew his decision on my body to look its best was gonna to be the right one. So I thought about it for an hour and decided to go with his advice and chose the tuck. I am currently in a ton of pain!! But I will say I’m 12 hours into this and it’s not as bad as it was this morning. I can’t tell you how my results look as of now but I can tell you the care I received and it was outstanding!!
