Dr. Decio Carvalho MD

Dr. Décio Carvalho is a Brazilian plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience, recognized for his precision, artistry, and dedication to patient care.

He earned his Medical Degree in 1997 from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, where he also completed a Master’s in General Surgery.

Dr. Carvalho completed both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies at the prestigious Irmandade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo, and became a board-certified plastic surgeon by the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP).

After establishing a successful practice in Brazil, Dr. Carvalho relocated to the United States, where he completed an additional General Surgery Residency at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Stem Cell Therapy at the University of Miami.

Now based in Coral Gables – Miami, Dr. Carvalho has performed over 7,000 plastic and cosmetic procedures in the United States alone, specializing in body contouring, liposuction, and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgeries.

With training in both Brazilian and American surgical traditions, Dr. Carvalho offers a unique blend of technical excellence and aesthetic sensibility — helping each patient rediscover their best version with safety, innovation, and purpose.
